3 DAYS IN ANNECY

This past weekend with my boyfriend we celebrated our 4 year anniversary, so we decided to spend our weekend in Annecy.

I will leave you a list of things that we really enjoyed the more and some places that you must visit in my opinion.

We left the Paris area super early in the morning so we could enjoy almost the full day upon our arrival. We decided to go by car to be able to move around but there are plenty of options to get to Annecy like train or bus)

DAY ONE: This first day, was all about walking around and getting to know a bit the city center. We took ice-cream, and I swear there are plenty of shops to choose from so is definitely a MUST.

DAY TWO: We decided to rent a boat that you can drive without driving license and sale through the Lac d’Annecy as a little experience for our anniversary. After that we went to visit the Gorges du Fier, located approximately 15 minutes in car from the city, which is a little walk with waterfalls.

Finally we came back and we tried, in my opinion, the best waffles I ever eat at CHEZ GASTON.

And to close this beautiful day we went for dinner to CHEZ INGALLS, a really cute and romantic spot to go with your significant other.

DAY THREE: On the last day, we left our AirBnb quite early, and we stoped again at CHEZ GASTON for waffles and then we decided to stroll around and do some window shopping at Galleries Lafayette.

We decided to buy a pizza at SAPAUDIA EXPRESS and just enjoy our meal sitting by the lake since it was a beautiful sunny day.

Finally, before our return home we decided to go to a kind of of a secret spot called La Grotte des Sarrasins. We were definitely not dressed for the occasion but we really enjoyed, and once we reached the top the view was just breathtaking.
